Michigan First Credit Union was founded in 1926, originally as Detroit Teacher’s Credit Union. Headquartered out of Lathrup Village, Michigan, the credit union has an additional 11 other branches located throughout the Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids areas. Michigan First is also connected to the CO-OP network of banks and credit unions, therefore has thousands of branch and atm locations by proxy.
Michigan First Credit Union provides a wide selection of online financial services for both personal and business accounts. All of these services are reviewed in detail on the online banking webpage. Mobile applications are also available to individuals who wish to access their account information, and associated online services, via their smartphone or tablet. Users who already have an online membership with Michigan First, can access the online account area by entering their username in the login form (located on the right-side of the homepage, as outlined in the screenshot below), and click the green ‘LOGIN’ button. Those without a membership can register for an online account, by clicking the ‘Register’ link, which is located directly below the login form.

Users who want to access their online account via a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, can do so by entering the same URL (www.michiganfirst.com) into their mobile browser (such as Chrome or Safari). Once on the mobile homepage, users must click on the green ‘Online Banking’ button to be transferred to the secured login webpage (this button is outlined in the image to the right).
