Westerra Credit Union is a non-profit organization owned by it`s members, originally formed in 1934 as DPS Credit Union. It was renamed in 2006 surrounding large mergers between DPS Credit Union and Safeway Rocky Mountain Credit Union in 2005, then with Gateway Credit Union in 2006 and finally Jeffco Credit Union in 2009.
Services are available to the residents and employees within Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas Jefferson County and the city of Aurora, the employees, students, graduates retirees and family of Denver and Jeffco Public Schools, the employees and family of Safeway Corporation with other groups and their families included.
Westerra Credit Union offers numerous online banking services to its members, the majority of which are detailed on Westerra’s online banking webpage. Members who already have an online account can sign in via the homepage, using the sign in form that is located on the left-side of the webpage (as outlined in the screenshot below). Members must enter their username and password into the appropriate fields, and then click on the ‘LOG IN’ button to access their account area.
Users on a mobile device can access their online account area by using a mobile browser (such as Chrome or Safari), and entering the bank’s URL (www.westerracu.com) into their browser’s address bar. Logging in is the same process as what is described above.
Westerra Credit Union provides two mobile applications (free of charge) to members who wish to access online banking services via their mobile phone without using a mobile browser.
